Associate Professor Vinesh Chandra is an academic in the Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane. He is the academic lead (International Engagement) and the STEM subject area coordinator. His teaching and research focus predominately on Technology, STEM and Global Education. He has taught in early childhood, primary, secondary, and tertiary settings in Australia and several developing countries, including Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Malaysia, and China. More recently, Associate Professor Chandra has led two Australia Awards Graduate Certificate programs in STEM Education in PNG and is leading the third one. He is also leading several other Australia Awards initiatives in PNG. His book Share Engage Educate: SEEding change for a better world highlight some of the work he has undertaken with his team in eight developing countries through the SEE Project. He received the Peter Brice Award from the Pacific Circle Consortium (PCC) in recognition of his "exceptional dedication" and "lifetime commitment to educational ideals in the Pacific and beyond."
